A brand new liner on a retroweled sand bottom. The customer actually had to wait a little longer to get this plain blue liner instead of a patterned liner.

 This water is from the owner's city water source. 

 

 

 

This wooden walled pool featured a thick 30 mil liner. Liners thicker than the long time standard of 20 mil may be more durable, but they are more difficult to install and more expensive. The jury is still out on the genuine cost effectiveness of a liner thicker than 20 mil because the bottom line to a liner's demise still seems to be water chemistry, sun cracking and age brittleness. The owner of this pool had connections with the local fire department, who filled the pool with river water in exchange for beer. Yumm!
